The way the five-time Grand Slam champion has created a name for herself in the tennis world, Dimitrov’s image on tour was stamped the other way around, giving him remembered as Sharapova’s love interest rather than a player. The 36-year-old wrote in her autobiography, Unstoppable, My Life So Far that they were on different tangents during the two-year relationship. Somewhere down the line, both of them knew that being together made them happy, but they were not the right people to be with each other then.
