She owns several brands like Serena Ventures and is constantly looking to expand her portfolio. Hours ago, Williams hinted about another adventure, this time in the entertainment industry.
The former World Number 1 took to her official Instagram handle and shared glimpses of her meeting with Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone. Sharing a picture with Stallone, Williams said, “I had fun this weekend met @officialslystallone what if I were the next athlete/ turned action star? Plot twist this time it’s a lady athlete! lol. ALSO…. I mean when she drops a country album you get in formation.”
Serena Williams’ cryptic announcement instantly set off rumors about her venture into Hollywood. She suggested playing an athlete or an action star in the movie and it won’t be a surprise if she stars in such a role, given that she has always kept an eye out for it. A few years back, the retired champion even dazzled in a cameo starring Daniel Craig.
A couple of years ago, the 23-time Grand Slam champion made a special appearance in the movie Glass Onion which also starred superstar Daniel Craig. Williams thoroughly enjoyed her cameo appearance and wished to star in more such roles in the future. Further, during an interview, she was asked about her acting venture.

Replying to this question, Williams said, “They had wrote me into the script originally. They were thinking of me. And I was like, no way, cool. And they were like, well, would you want to do this? And I was like, why not? Sure. It’ll be fun. So I was really excited to shoot it. I couldn’t say anything about it for so long that I think I actually forgot about it, but it was really fun.”
Her cameo appearance was widely acclaimed by the critics and she won praise from her fans as well. Given her past experience, it won’t be a surprise if the American legend makes a foray into Hollywood in the near future.
