A fisherman going fishing at sea unexpectedly caught a rare yellow sea turtle weighing 80kg.
According to news posted on Tri Thuc Tre and Infonet , on the evening of March 28, Mr. Bui Tuan Son – Director of Ha Tinh Fishing Port Management Board said that this unit has just coordinated with Cua Sot Border Guard Station (Ministry of Ha Tinh Border Guard), Loc Ha District Forest Ranger Department and people organized the release of a sea turtle into the natural environment.
Accordingly, on the evening of March 27, while fishing in the waters of Thach Kim commune, about 15-20 nautical miles from shore, an individual turtle got stuck on the fishing boat TH 90387 operated by fisherman Nguyen Van Truong (resident). owned by Trung Nghia village, Thach Bang commune, Loc Ha district).
According to observations, the sea turtle has a beautiful golden color, weighs 80kg, is 95cm long, and 65cm wide.
According to Mr. Bui Tuan Son, Head of the Ha Tinh Fishing Port Management Board, this is a very rare sea turtle.

Upon receiving the news, the Management Board of Ha Tinh fishing ports and Cua Sot Border Guard Station waited for Mr. Truong’s fishing boat to return, propagated to Mr. Truong that this was a rare turtle, and mobilized fishermen. This releases the turtle back into the marine environment.
By this afternoon (March 28), Mr. Truong agreed to hand over the turtle to the authorities. The sea turtle weighing 80kg, 95cm long, 65cm wide was released by the authorities and people into the waters of Thach Kim commune (Loc Ha district), about 1km from shore.
