Former tennis player Maria Sharapova is having the time of her life as she is celebrating her time off in an exotic location. Sharapova retired from tennis but her skills are now being utilized in a different sport which includes pickleball. Currently, she is training alongside another tennis legend John McEnroe to prepare for her tournament at the Pickleball Slam Season 2.
The two will be playing against former tennis players and real-life couple Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf. However, before all the hustle and bustle takes over her time off, Sharapova is spending the beginning of the new year with desert hopping in Morocco.

The former tennis star Maria Sharapova has a big knack for traveling. She is often seen traveling to exotic and amazing locations during her break time between pickleball practices and matches. And right now, she is spending her quality time in the Agafay Desert in Morocco. She shared a few pictures from her time there on her official Instagram account.
It can be seen that is staying in a tent there and enjoying the delicacies and cultural aspects of the place, be it with camel rides or authentic food. Along with the photos, she also added a caption, “This New Year’s Day got a (hump)grade 👀 🐫🧳”. Clearly using a word pun with the word hump referring to the camel in her photos.
Besides all the sightseeing fun, Sharapova also made sure to entertain her fans with a sneak peek into her vacation and her hotel tour as well.

Maria Sharapova during her vacation in Morocco shared a lot of her moments with her fans. In one of the stories that she posted on her Instagram account; she gave her fans a tour of the place where she is staying at. Along with that, she also posted a picture in which she is wearing a black robe. The robe is actually the traditional robe from the city and along with that, she is wearing Italian slippers as she mentioned.
She also shared beautiful pictures of the architectural sites of Morocco emphasizing the amazing details that people could notice there. Well, we have to say, this is certainly not a bad way to celebrate New Year.
