During the offseason, Patrick Mahomes’ family has been occupied with various tasks. Kansas City Chiefs QB’s wife  Brittany Mahomes, is an eminent social media influencer who never shies away from thrilling her followers with her latest updates about these happenings. This time around, her newest chronicle was around an unexpected guest the Mahomes family had at their house.

Taking to her official Instagram account, Brittany Mahomes revealed the special guest that was spotted in her house’s backyard area. Humorously and in an awe-struck reaction, the mom of two remarked that it was a  ‘mother bird- duck’.

Soon after, the Kansas City Current owner caught the special mother bird on camera while the SB winner rushed to her better half to protect her from the duck, looking at the scared reaction on Brittany’s face. They both could be seen striding together in her IG story. And Patrick seemed to stop his partner from going close to the duck, displaying his care for Brittany.

The latest clip featured the conversation between the Mahomes couple. Brittany says,” The duck is gone.: We’re going to check. I’m not about to get attacked by my duck. And he has my back.” To which Patrick promptly gave his reaction saying, “You’re on guard. Stop!. After his hubby’s reply, she was evidently shocked as she replied, “What? Where? Okay.” She went on to display her enthusiasm for the mother bird. Soon after she spotted the duck again, she said, “Well, it’s still here. I just wanted to see if there were eggs.”

She captioned her IG story post, “ Almost broke my ankle,” tagging her husband, Patrick Mahomes in the story as the former soccer star seemed to have missed a step while trying to move alongside her husband. They both looked surprised overall at the unanticipated visitor who had created a nest in their backyard.  However, prior to his, Brittany’s excitement could also be sensed as earlier she could not resist sharing her snap with her 1.9M followers. She captioned her first IG story, “My heart,” using a teary-eyed emoji.

This is not the first time Patrick Mahomes’ protective nature has gone viral. Earlier, during the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, when Americans came together to experience the natural phenomenon, the Chiefs QB’s heroic reaction to his daughter Sterling received the limelight.

Patrick heroically saved his 3-year-old daughter from the direct light of the sun. Sterling could be seen looking at the sun without wearing her protective sunglasses. Rising up to the situation, Dad Patrick had to rush towards Sterling to block the sunlight from her eyes. Brittany captured the moment.

Taking to her social media account, the QB’s wife shared the special moment between father and daughter. Patrick’s heroic act touched many hearts on social media, including his mother, Randi Mahomes. The matriarch of the Mahomes clan adored the father-daughter moment. Taking to her official social media account, Randi re-shared the clip with the caption, “He really is the best daddy!” This heartwarming incident proves that Patrick Mahomes is a devoted husband and father, always ready to love and protect them.
