It’s almost time for Team USA Basketball to set out on that much-awaited run. However, before that, LeBron James, the leader of the side, had another important business to take care of. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar lit the pre-Olympic event with his stylish appearance alongside other celebrities. ‘The Prelude to the Olympics’ is a party hosted by Louis Vuitton where sports stars, musicians, and actors from across the world are all found under one roof.
This glamorous event had musical performances from some of the finest talents in the music world. Notably, the African pop star, Tyla Stunner, performed her Grammy Award-winning song, ‘Water’ at the event. Above all, she linked up with one of the greatest basketball players in the world, LeBron James.
The 22-year-old pop star is a revelation in the African music community. After receiving her first Grammy award, Stunner is determined to create a space for herself in the pop world as she recently said, “It’s something I feel like the industry is lacking, An African pop star.”
And, with the ambition to rule the pop world, Tyla is headed in the right direction, meeting the superstars of the world. It wasn’t just LeBron James. She also linked up with the latest WNBA sensation, Angel Reese. Even though she didn’t make it to Team USA’s basketball roster for the Olympics challenge.

On the other hand, the party had other notable celebrities. Novak Djoković, Serena Williams, Ian Thorpe and Tyrese Haliburton are some of them from the sports world. What’s in store for the Olympics opening ceremony?
The Olympic opening ceremony is one of the most anticipated events in the world. To make an easier comparison, it’s almost similar to US sports fans’ anticipation of the Super Bowl halftime show. And, interestingly, it’s Lady Gaga, who’s gonna rock the stage. May be a moving stage. It’s reported that the Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony is the first-ever not to be held inside a stadium.
The opening ceremony procession hosted by Mike Tirico, Kelly Clarkson, and Peyton Manning will be along the 3.7-mile stretch over the Seine. 100 boats carrying 10500 athletes will go past the historical sites of Paris like Nôtre-Dame, the Louvre, the Grand Palais, and other historic landmarks before stopping across the iconic, Eiffel Tower.
LeBron James, Team USA’s flag bearer alongside Coco Gauff, the youngest flag bearer for the US, will lead the massive American unit. The team will don a navy blue blazer and trousers designed by American fashion designer Ralph Lauren. Heading to the tournament, King James has a lot of mouths to shut. Even though the team went 5-0 in the pre-Olympics exhibition games, the team couldn’t produce blowout games, as expected by the fans.
