Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James could only laugh after learning about a remarkable NBA statistical feat that he owns.
On Wednesday, Bleacher Report shared a post noting how James actually has more 50-point games in his career than single-digit scoring performances. Apparently, LeBron has scored 50 or more points 14 times in his career, while he scored less than 10 points in just eight instances.
All of James’ single-digit scoring games came within the first four years of his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, with six happening in his rookie season.
As for his 50-point explosions, he naturally did it the most with the Cavs where he played for 11 seasons in two separate stints. James recorded eight 50-point performances in his first run with Cleveland from 2003 to 2010 and another one in his return to the team from 2014 to 2018.
James’ best scoring performance was a 61-point outing against the then-Charlotte Bobcats back in 2014 when he was still with the Miami Heat.
The Lakers forward shared BR’s post on X (formerly Twitter) and added several emojis of a face rolling on the floor laughing.
It’s definitely an incredible feat for LeBron James, one that highlights not only his longevity but also his sustained dominance over the years.
As he enters his 22nd year in the NBA, it will definitely be interesting to see if he can keep playing at a high level.
In terms of his record, no one can really blame him for his reaction to his feat. After all, it’s possible he could only laugh in disbelief at what he has done in his career.
