Sharapova, who will defend her French Open title next week, has now reached 10 million fans on the socail networking site Facebook.

Sharapova had 10,006,973 fans as of Monday night. Speaking on the milestone, the Russian, who is no. 3 in all time career prize money for women in tennis, commented, “Ten million Facebook fans is just hard to believe. I am so fortunate to have amazing fans all over the world who support me on all the good and bad days.” Sharapova is 30-4 for the season with three of those losses coming to world no. 1 Serena Williams.
