The couple is expecting a baby boy in March
Fred Warner wanted to celebrate a special moment with his soon-to-be family of three.
Upon winning the NFC Championship alongside the rest of the San Francisco 49ers, the linebacker, 27, could be seen looking for his pregnant wife, Sydney Hightower Warner, amid celebrations.
The two shared a kiss after finding each other in the crowd, with the athlete holding onto his wife’s baby bump as they celebrated the special moment, which comes as they await the birth of their baby boy this spring.
“We’re headed to the SUPERBOWL!” she captioned photos from the exciting day shared on Instagram.
“Making memories this year that will last a lifetime. Our son will see these photos one day and know he was in my belly when daddy won the NFC Championship 🥹,” Hightower Warner continued. “We are blessed. So proud of you #54 ♥️.”
The NFL player and The Bachelor alum, 28, first announced their exciting baby news in October, sharing footage from one of their ultrasound appointments.
“The past several months we have experienced the most precious moments of our lives. Every weekly milestone and new development has been indescribable…the best is yet to come!” they captioned the joint Instagram post, revealing their little one will arrive in March 2024.
The pair started the new year by revealing that they will be welcoming a baby boy, slicing into a cake to reveal blue icing.
“Baby Warner … Is a boy! 🩵” they wrote. “We love this little boy more than he can imagine!”
Warner and Hightower Warner, who appeared on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor in 2020, got engaged in May 2021 and tied the knot in June 2022, at a small chapel in Vista, Calif. surrounded by loved ones.
The couple met when Warner, fresh off of a Super Bowl loss, slid into her DMs at the suggestion of his sister-in-law.
“His brother’s wife FaceTimed him and told him there was a girl on The Bachelor that was his type and his vibe,” she recalled on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. “He thought she was being ridiculous, but he reached out. He waited until I was sent home, and around two weeks later, he found me on Instagram and shot his shot!”
Even though Weber sent Hightower home in week six of the show, she appreciated how everything worked out in the end.
“It wasn’t as great as I wanted in the moment. But looking back, I would never have been where I am in life and I wouldn’t have found the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with if I hadn’t been on The Bachelor,” Hightower continued. “It’s just crazy.”
