Draymond Green Unveils the Cause of His Present Discontent with LeBron James

LeBron James and Draymond Green are so close that they are even business partners of a successful tequila brand. They often spend time together during the offseason and James was even one of the main guests to Draymond’s wedding when it happened. It’s safe to say these two are thick as thieves but Green seems to have a problem with LeBron as of late. Earlier in the week, James announced he was starting a podcast with former NBA player J.J. Reddick called ‘Mind the Game’. The first episode was a success but Draymond Green seems to be upset by it. Recently, he revealed the reason he seems to have some beef with James.

Green took to his own podcast to reveal the reason he is upset at LeBron James after this new podcast announcement. According to the Golden State Warriors star, he doesn’t appreciate that James still hasn’t been a guest on his podcast. Surely these two will work things out and find the time to collaborate. Here is what Green said: “I must say, I am a little upset that LeBron James is like going on the podcast and he still hasn’t been on the Draymond Green show. When it’s your own thing, you kind of can’t say anything, so I guess I’ll live with it for now and pick the bone that I’ve got to pick with him later.”

Although the comment wasn’t made in bad faith, Draymond Green is well known for how unapollogetic he can be with his statements. Right now, both the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers need to worry about making the Playoffs. Both sides are struggling to maintain themselves between the ninth and tenth place of the Western Conference. Not making the playoffs this season would be considered a disaster, which is all the more reason for stars like Green and James to stay focused. Right now, thinking about their podcasts might be counter productive.
