Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill hasn’t spoken much of late with his ex-Kansas City Chiefs star teammates, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Hill explained why on Thursday, two days before the Dolphins visit the Chiefs for an AFC Wild Card matchup.
The Chiefs defeated the Dolphins 21-14 in Frankfurt, Germany on Nov. 5. That was a particularly tough game for Hill, as his late first-half fumble led to a Bryan Cook 59-yard return for a touchdown. Hill finished with eight catches for 62 yards.
The NFL’s receiving leader previously enjoyed a fantastic stint with Kansas City (2015-2021), making the Pro Bowl seven times and the All-Pro team on three occasions.
Mahomes was his quarterback for the last four seasons, and the two helped lead Kansas City to four AFC West titles, four AFC Championship Game appearances, two AFC titles and a Super Bowl win.
Now friends will be foes on Saturday in frigid Kansas City. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
