On Zoran Paparic’s remote farm in northeastern Croatia, an extraordinary event left the locals and the owner of the farm himself speechless. Sarka, a goat Paparic has owned for three years, gave birth to a unique goat: a goat with eight legs and both male and female reproductive organs.
The surprising birth baffled Paparic, who initially thought he was hallucinating while counting the extra legs. Sharing the news with his neighbor to confirm his perception, he was faced with the astonishing reality of an “octocab,” as he called it.
Local veterinarians explained that the extra legs could be attributable to an underdeveloped twin brother. Although experts expressed skepticism about the goat’s survival, Paparic considers it a “miracle of nature” and aims to keep it if it can overcome the initial challenges.
