Sad for the mother duck and its eggs, Brittany shared her emotional reaction after witnessing the eggs demolished in her house garden. She captured the broken nest picture with a heartbreaking feeling and shared it with her followers in her IG story. In one of the pictures, the mother of two could be seen with her 1-year-old son Bronze. She looked sad and disappointed in a snap.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s wife had no idea about the heartbreaking saga unfolding at her house when she went to check on the mother duck that had been comfortably sheltered there. With her camera on, Brittany, 28, scrutinized the spot in her backyard where the mother duck had nested. She recorded her discovery of the mother duck’s smashed eggs. As the retired soccer player surveyed the scene, she expressed her shock in an Instagram story clip, saying, “Are you freaking kidding me? I missed this?”

Pursuing the special guest, she was shocked by what she saw. With a distressed voice, she remarked, “I don’t see the eggs. I don’t know what’s going on.” Discovering the broken eggs lying in the grass, she felt distressed for the mother duck and her babies. In a disheartened tone, she stated, “Oh my god, they’re everywhere. I don’t know what’s happening.”

She then speculated about the situation, saying, “Okay, well, no idea. Well, I guess the saga is over. But I guess ducks can have eggs, and they’re not fertile. I learned this yesterday. So maybe they were eggs that didn’t have babies in them? I don’t know.” However, Brittany could not believe the excruciating intensity of the situation with the mother duck and her eggs. She further investigated and discovered that a raccoon had invaded and broken the eggs. She penned a heavy-hearted note that read, “It was a raccoon. I am so sad. At 4:30 am this morning, I am so sad,” accompanied by crying emojis.

This upsetting update came just after, she spotted one of the eggs was broken and shared the distressing news.

This was followed by her last post, in which Brittany exhibited her excitement, saying, “Guys, OMG. Our pet duck is gonna have 9 babies. I can’t wait to see them,” giving her fans a closer peek at the nest. Brittany is still excited to welcome new ducklings, despite the recent adversity.
