Patrick Mahomes and his daughter Sterling recently shared an adorable moment together out on the golf course, as the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was focused on the task at hand during a charity event for his 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.

Mahomes, the Chiefs‘ three-time Super Bowl champion under center, was in Las Vegas for a weekend of “golf and giving back” at his foundation’s Vegas Golf Classic — and an interaction with three-year-old Sterling, captured by his wife Brittany, has melted hearts all over the internet.

In a series of photos uploaded to Instagram Stories, Brittany Mahomes hilariously chronicles Sterling’s afternoon golfing with Patrick. First, Sterling is seen approaching Patrick — with a golf club in hand — and she is quickly shushed by her dad before he tries to line up a shot.

The next photo shows Patrick, right hand on his hip, watching with a bemused look as Sterling’s “feelings get hurt,” according to her mom. Sterling has turned away from her dad and is looking away from the camera.

Finally, Brittany shares a photo with Sterling and her younger brother Bronze after the Mahomes’ daughter “told on” her dad, burying her head in mom’s left shoulder.

The adorable sequence might not be a happy memory for Sterling right now, but she could someday look back on it fondly as a moment shared with her superstar dad. Her parents surely got a kick out of it.

Mahomes has enjoyed a busy offseason away from the gridiron as the Chiefs set themselves up for more success in 2024. Mahomes approved of the draft class that general manager Brett Veach put together, and he was also delighted at Travis Kelce’s $34 million contract extension, confirmed Monday afternoon.
