Taylor Swift has shown her generous side when it comes to tipping, in contrast to the allegations levelled at new pal Brittany Mahomes in a viral TikTok video.
The two became friends after meeting at a Kansas City Chiefs game in October – striking up an immediate bond from the sidelines as Swift took to the stands to watch new boyfriend Travis Kelce. However, according to a former hotel worker in California, the wife of Patrick Mahomes and her chart-topping pop star friend purportedly have very different attitudes towards tipping.
Jessica O’Connor suggested that ex-soccer player Brittany had been staying at the Los Angeles hotel, with husband Patrick not present. Recounting one alleged incident, she claimed that the celebrity had even failed to give a tip on a bill that amounted to more than $100.
The ex-staffer claimed on TikTok that Brittany didn’t tip members of staff at any point during her week-long stay at 1 Hotel West Hollywood. On the other hand, world-famous signer Taylor has been seen generously tipping staff during a trip to watch the Chiefs play.
The ‘Cruel Summer’ songwriter showed her humble side at the Patriots’ home, where she was seen giving generous tips to a kitchen worker. She had been cheering on Kelce and his teammates from a private box during their 27-17 win over the New England Patriots one one of her many trips to see the Chiefs play.
Watching on from the VIP area of Gillette Stadium, she was pictured giving a generous amount of cash to the food runners who had been present during her visit. In fact, in the image posted of her on social media, she appeared to be giving over $100 bills to the workers.
This act of kindness is in stark contrast to Brittany’s alleged behaviour at 1 Hotel West Hollywood, at least according to O’Connor who shared her experiences on TikTok. She claimed: “She was there with her whole posse. Patrick was not there. I believe their tab was well over $100, maybe like $130. $0 tip.
